You demanded it But I restrained myself Telling you to wait For I know It’s easier to plant And impossible To uproot; A kiss Upon those Cherry red lips.
Uproot, we have to. The point is, forget the philosophy, kiss gently and then hard, and enjoy the pleasure of love. Let not the thoughts of future pain restrain you!
beautiful poem, arun, although this is wrong strategy. what you should do is to take her in your arms, look her straight in the eyes, say something like "my precious," and plant that kiss on her lips. the thing to watch is not to lose balance. you should factor in the shift in combined centre of gravity at the moment of impact.
Beautiful. Arun, it's been quite easy to gather that you recently broke your heart. : ) I did not want to say it in a public forum, but I finally am. Are you like me? I write poetry mostly only when I break my heart : ) all other emotions find expression in prose!
Venu Chettan: Ha ha ha…VKN. I haven’t come across any author who can evoke thoughtful laughter with the slightest alterations the way VKN did. Consider ‘Biplabacharayn’ for example, the, ‘va’ paves way for a ‘ba’ and the impact!
John: Welcome back. Love? No thanks I’m on my own :)
